Glass Signage – Waterford

Glass Signage | 2010 | Waterford | 8ft, 2.4m high width varies | Toughned laminated low-iron glass with ceramic ink interlayer, bronze and stainless steel.

Waterford City commissioned four site-specific, bespoke sculptural tourist information signs to reflect the close connection between its historic Viking Triangle and Waterford Crystal.

These double freestanding signs in 4 languages can be read from both sides while at the same time give a transparent view through them. Each sign is site specific relating directly to its adjacent historic building and making reference to images of artworks and coins of the historic period.
