“Skib” – Limerick

“Skib” | 2002 | Limerick | 5m high | Glulam-Siberian Larch and Bronze

This sculpture, located in Raheen Industrial Estate in Limericks, serves as a metaphor for industry and contrasts with the surrounding industrial landscape. The timber structure supports a bronze boat moored, raised by the tide, a carrier of trade and people.

We worked on this project at a laminated-wood (Glulam) factory in Denmark in the making of this sculpture.
